Anthrocon is the world's largest convention for those fascinated with anthropomorphics, which are humanlike animal characters. We are a collection of artists, animators, writers, costumers, puppeteers, and just everyday fans who enjoy cartoon animals and their kin. Membership is open to any and all who like to imagine what it would be like if animals could walk and talk as we do -- and no, you do not have to wear a costume to attend!
For Anthrocon 2013, we shall cheer "The Fast and the Furrious" during July 4-7, 2013 in Pittsburgh's magnificent David L. Lawrence Convention Center. There will be workshops, panel discussions, an art exhibition, the largest dealers' room in the fandom, and a chance to meet our honored guests, screenwriter Tom Minton, author/musician Mercedes Lackey, artist/author Larry Dixon, and Japan's amazing fursuiter-acrobat, Sardyuon! Join us in July and watch the Independence Day fireworks as Anthrocon once again turns the whole of downtown Pittsburgh into a furry metropolis!

Welcome to FA United 5, official convention of Fur Affinity! We're rolling out into our fifth year, and this time around we're unloadin' all the stops - from special guests Katmomma and skulldog, to live music from the band Look Left and weekend dances thumpin' all night long! We've decked it out, and are rampin' up the vibe for three solid days of fun, friends and more.
In fact, we've scored an all new hotel brimmin' with all the goods - over twice the con space, bigger room space and more of everything. Period. We're back, and bigger and better than ever!
Drop in and hang out, attend panels and events, learn new skills in art, music and more. Meet up with friends new and old, shop at our expanded Dealer's Den or battle it out head-to-head in our game room. It's a Jersey bash the likes of which only the Garden state can bring. It's about attitude, and we've got it. Gaming, live music, fun and festivities -- you name it -- all weekend long from dusk 'til dawn!
And leave the spray tan for the "kids" at the shore. We're about serious fun.

FurFright, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was formed after a successful single-day fund-raising event in the fall of 2003. Its purpose is to raise funds to help other non-profit charities who focus their efforts on environmental, wildlife and animal welfare causes. Our major fundraising event is held once a year and includes a charity auction and raffle, from which all proceeds go to benefit our selected charitable organizations. We strive to support two charities in a single year, one local to New England and another serving the national or global community. Our annual fundraising event also involves the following entertainments for our attendees of all ages:
* Video and tabletop gaming * Dances * Mascot games * Masquerade/Talent show * Dealers Room * Panels/Discussions/Classes
