:bulletblue:ANTHRO ANATOMY TUTORIAL:bulletblue:
So... our first tutorial on the list is Anthro Anatomy. This can be quiet convoluted because there are so many variations out there, there really is no right way to do it. So what I will be doing is I will be streaming live on live stream throughout our education channel various styles from different artists. Who knows, maybe the artist themselves will be able to demonstrate (;. The goal for this tutorial is to give you a good foundation and starting point to consider when drawing anthro art.

:bulletgreen: Brief Tutorial Over View & Key Points :bulletgreen:
So the first thing we are going to be going over is WereWolf Anatomy. Sense this is generally the most popular genre we're going to be using a lot of examples along with tutorial examples. The first thing we are going to be looking at is going to be general WereWolves. This is from realistic ones to more with "humanoid" like qualities.

WereWolves
This is just a general gathering of werewolf pieces of artwork depicting a few different styles.

    Mature Content

    rage by Yellow-eyes

  • Rage by Yellow-eyes is a good example of Realistic Wolves with Werewolf/humanoid qualities such as bipedal limps, exaggerated arched frame and much larger then a 'wolf'.
  • :thumb204106702:
  • Werewolf Standing There by kyoht is a good example of exaggerated features. Big broad shoulders and muscular physic but still retains that typical werewolf face. You will notice that the ears are more pointed and least 'realistic' but have that unique feature that still make a compelling werewolf.
  • :thumb203533482:
  • Jormur by lionrunestudios is another great example of a humanoid physic where the muscles are really defined  and still has the 'clothes' attached. This is more of an 'urban' werewolf.
  • DarkIce by DarkIceWolf is a great example of your typical mythos type werewolf adorned with native American qualities. It gives a good example of both front  and back of the werewolf. The profile really helps to define some of the key features like how the muscles should go, where the joints are from front and back along with imperfections such as the stomach area. Not all werewolves have to be beef and meaty. This is also based on someones character and in essence there is no right or wrong way on how to do it. Its what the artist wants to convey.

Anthros With Human Qualities
There is a wide variety of different anthros that you can see. What an "anthro" really is, is animals with "Humanoid" like qualities. This means clothing, facial features etc. but as above, can be simple and realistic. A great example of Human Quality type anthro work would be:

Anthros with Realistic Humanoid Qualities
This usually applies to characters who look more 'animal' and aren't really adorned by a lot of decoration.

:bulletred:What IS Anthro Educate?:bulletred:
Anthro Edcuate goes in line with projecteducate! DeviantART is a community developed and maintened for the community and here at AnthroCommunity we want to bring that to you! The Anthro Education Team is comprised of various artists who have offered their time to volunteer and bring to you, the community, helpful tutorials, live feeds/streams of tutorials, live chats during streams so you can ask direct questions on how to draw something, resources, freebies etc!

We are here for you, the deviant, to help maintain a strong relationship with those in our community and more importantly, to help. There is a lot to be said about a strong community such  as DeviantART and we want to bring that very essence here to the Anthro group!
